Every project is priced as a simple flat fee—no hourly rates, no per-image charges, and no surprise costs. Most shoots fall under my standard pricing, but if your project is especially complex or outside the norm, I’ll just put together a custom quote. Either way, you’ll know exactly what to expect before we begin.

When multiple parties (like the builder, architect, and interior designer) want images of the same project, they can split the cost. The more parties involved, the lower the price for everyone. I’ll handle separate agreements and invoices with each participant—so you’re not stuck coordinating or fronting the cost for anyone else. Just share their contact info and I’ll take care of the rest.

I retain the copyright to all images, but you get a full, unlimited-use license. That means you can use the images in your marketing, proposals, website, social media, and printed materials—anywhere you need to promote your work, for as long as you need.

The license I provide is just for your company. If another party—like a builder, architect, or vendor—wants to use the images, they’ll need their own license. If the shoot hasn’t happened yet, they can join in through cost sharing, which saves everyone money. If it’s already done, no problem—I can still provide them with their own usage license afterward.

I’m based in the San Francisco Bay Area and regularly photograph projects throughout Northern California. If your project is located elsewhere, I’m happy to travel—just reach out with the details and I’ll prepare a custom travel-inclusive quote.

Not typically. I focus on design-forward architectural photography for architects, builders, and designers—projects meant for portfolios, awards, and marketing. However, if your project will eventually be listed, I can license select images for real estate use. Just let me know during booking.

You’ll receive your final, retouched images within 10 business days after the last day of shooting. If you need a specific delivery date, just let me know in advance—I’ll make it happen.

It’s completely up to you. You’re always welcome to attend the shoot and give input in real time. Some clients like to provide a shot list ahead of time—which I’m happy to follow with some creative flexibility. Others prefer to be more hands-off and trust me to take the lead. In those cases, I’ll plan the shoot based on our initial conversations and what I know will showcase your project in the best light.

Definitely. When possible, I like to do a walkthrough—either with you or on my own—before the shoot. It helps me scout for the best shots and flag anything that might need staging or prep. Whether we do a walkthrough or not, I’ll guide you through the process and suggest the most impactful visuals based on your goals and the space.
